In 2006, seeing the air medical transport market shift, Greg Pafford began to question whether rural North Louisiana was truly receiving the level of care it deserved. That vision soon became reality with the launch of the very first Air One base in Ruston, Louisiana, operating a Bell 206 helicopter. From day one, Air One set out to build a lasting legacy—medical crews and support staff committed to doing everything in their power to ensure patients received the highest standard of care.
